Parkinson’s UK has appointed Mark Goodridge as its new chair of trustees.

Mark Goodridge has worked extensively with boards and executive teams of public organisations and charities, including the RSPB, Children in Need and the Carbon Trust.

Mr Goodridge said: “I am honoured to become Parkinson’s UK’s new chair of trustees. Since joining the board I’ve seen the charity develop into the leading force for people with Parkinson’s, funding vital research, supporting them at every stage of their journey and speaking out on their behalf.

“I look forward to working alongside my fellow trustees and the Parkinson’s UK senior leadership team to ensure we keep building on their considerable achievements.”
