Got skills with paints? Or maybe you’re handy with colour pencils? Let your creative juices run wild and enter this newly launched international art competition dedicated to Parkinson’s disease awareness.
Armando Hasudungan, the illustrator responsible for the competition, invites everyone to enter and help raise awareness of the condition.
He says: “Whether you have first-hand experience with Parkinson’s or would just like to contribute, the competition aims to encourage greater understanding and awareness of Parkinson’s disease through art, while also helping to raise funds at the same time.”

The winner will be announced on 11 April in conjunction with World Parkinson’s Day.
Entry requirements:
– Entries can be in any 2-dimentional medium or artistic form (drawing, painting, prints, digital art). Simply take a still image for the submission.
– You will need to include a short description of your work (maximum 300 words) that includes: your name, the medium and any motivation or story that inspired your work.
– Still images: 16:9 aspect ratio (landscape), PNG format, min. 1920 x 1080 pixels, max. file size: 20 MB.
– Videos: 15-45 seconds, full HD (1920 x 1080), H264 codec, .mov or .mp4; max. file size: 100 MB.
How to enter
– Download and fill in the submission template.
– Send artwork image and template to competition@gmail.com
