Leading Parkinson’s activist donates book sales to WPC 2016 travel grants

World Parkinson’s Coalition blogger partner Timo Montonen has announced a campaign to donate money raised from his published books to fund travel grants for Parkinson’s patients and young researchers.

The donation campaign runs until 31 December 2015 and includes all eight of his Finnish titles – and also one written in English – which are about life with Parkinson’s.

As a member of the Advocates for Parkinson Committee, he is gathering a delegation for the upcoming 4th World Parkinson Congress in Portland, US, in September 2016. The Finnish writer and Parkinson’s activist lives in Helsinki.
