US Rotax Grand Nationals, Concourse d’Elegance, California, US

A Sanzaru Games Karting Champions will display his go-kart to raise money for Parkinson’s causes. Raffle prizes include signed go-cart shirts and scale model cars.


NYC Fox Trot 5K, New York City, US

Team Fox is heading back to the Upper West Side for the second annual 2016 NYC FoxTrot 5K. All runners who raise at least $100 for the Michael J Fox Foundation before the events will win Team Fox merchandise.


James Cole Winery – Joining the Cause, California, US

Enjoy the Lobster Boil in the winery grounds and experience a live and intimate performance by American Idol’s Lee DeWyze. Tickets are $200 per person and all proceeds will go to the Michael J Fox Foundation.


Project visit: changes in mitrochondrial DNA in Parkinson’s, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK

Join Dr Gavin Hudson at the Newcastle University International Centre for Life as he discusses research on the role of mitochondria and nerve cell death in Parkinson’s.


Pinkie Fights Parkinson’s, Colorado, US

Help Pinkie raise money for Parkinson’s causes as he attempts to climb Mount Elbert, the highest summit of the Rocky Mountains and the highest point in Colorado. He will be climbing the mountain in honour of his father who lives with the condition.


South Coast Challenge, South Downs National Park, UK

Start at the famous Beachy Head, and amble through the Seven Sisters Country Park and along the South Downs Way. Walk the route as an individual, take part as a team, or if you’re looking for an extra challenge you can run it as an ultra-marathon and raise money for Parkinson’s causes.


A Walk in the Park 2016, Melbourne, Australia

This leisurely walk starts in Federation Square and follows the banks of the Yarra River. Entertainment includes live music and fun, family activities. The course is mobility-friendly and each dollar raised will help support people living with Parkinson’s in Victoria.


Unity Walk and Run, Sydney Olympic Park, Sydney, Australia

Join walkers and runners from all over New South Wales for a day in the outdoors to raise money for Parkinson’s causes. There are three routes to choose from: 4km walk, 7km run and the Sydney Half Marathon.


Ride the lights, Blackpool, UK

Experience the thrill of riding along Blackpool Promenade under the world-famous Illuminations and raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. You can ride at any point along the promenade from Starr Gate at South Shore to Red Bank Road in Bispham, and as much or as little of the route as you like.
