The Great Scottish Run, Glasgow, UK

Participants are invited to join the Parkinson’s UK team in this year’s event. Fundraisers can run either a 10k or half marathon route, starting from Glasgow’s iconic George Square.

Team Hope Bank of America Chicago Marathon, Chicago, Illinois, US

The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is known for its flat and fast course. All Team Hope runners will receive: a Team Hope running singlet and shoelaces for race day; a personalised online fundraising page; an invitation to race weekend events and one-on-one fundraising support.

The KM Assault Course Challenge, Kent, UK

Assemble a team of six of your toughest friends and prepare to be put through your paces on this civil assault course. Those participating with Parkinson’s UK will receive a free fundraising pack, t-shirt and sponsorship forms.

14, 15, 21

Moving Day, various locations in the US

Moving Day is a fun and inspiring fundraising event that unites families, friends and communities in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. This celebration of movement features a family friendly walk course, a kids’ area and a caregivers’ relaxation tent.

Shake with Laughter, London, UK

Back for its sixth consecutive year, this comedy show is bound to have you falling off your chair. Featuring a whole host of top comedians including Lucy Porter, Rob Deering, Gary Delaney and Tim Vine. Every ticket sold supports Parkinson’s UK research.

The Tom Isaacs Charity Golf Day, Buckinghamshire, UK

The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is holding a memorial in honour of co-founder Tom Isaacs, who died this year. The day consists of breakfast, drinks, dinner and a round of golf. Tickets cost £120 per player.

The Parkinson’s Foundation in collaboration with the American Congress of Rehabilitation, Atlanta, Georgia, US 

This online course will be presented live at the ACRM Annual Conference, Progress in Rehabilitation Research. Designed by expert speech and language pathologists in the field of Parkinson’s to help other medical professionals.

Get Ur Neon Neuron On, San Diego, California, US

Sign up for a 5km walk or run to raise money to fund the next two studies by Summit For Stem Cell. On the day there will also be live music, food trucks and prize draws.
