The Michael J Fox Foundation will be fielding a team at this year’s marathon to raise vital funds for the organisation. Team Fox runners will gain free entry to the race, a branded running singlet and a unique commemorative medal.

Moving Forward, Together conference, Richmond, US
The conference, held at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel, aims to enrich the connection between those living with Parkinson’s, caregivers and health care professionals. Tickets are priced between $40–60.

Parkinson’s UK invites fundraisers to take part in this iconic challenge, climbing the highest peaks of England, Scotland and Wales over a 24-hour period. The challenge will run every weekend until October.

Tour de Fox, British Columbia, Canada
The Michael J Fox Foundation host their annual cycling event, with all proceeds going towards the foundation. Routes are between 10–75 miles long, all ages are welcome.

Partners in Parkinson’s Grand Rapids, Michigan, US
Head to Partners in Parkinson’s Grand Rapids for a full day of educational seminars and panel discussions. The event includes a resource fair where guests can meet with medical professionals, allied care providers and activity groups.

Bosham Gardens Open Day, Chichester, UK
The picturesque village of Bosham opens its private gardens in aid of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust. Guests will be treated to afternoon tea. Tickets cost £7 per adult and children under 14 go free.

Parkinson’s Education in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, US
The National Parkinson Foundation will be hosting a free day of talks, the sessions being led by neurologist Dr Tanya Harlow. A complementary meal is included.

Pocono Fox Trot 5k Fun Run, Pennsylvania, US
Come and show your support for the third annual Pocono Fox Trot 5k Fun Run, held in aid of the Michael J Fox Foundation. Last year’s event raised $30,000 and they’re planning to beat that total this year.

3rd Congress of the European Academy of Neurology, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Join more than 6000 neurologists from all over the world as they discuss topics on the theme ‘outcome measures in neurology’.

Campus Neurológico Senior Summer Campus 2017, Torres Vedras, Portugal
The week-long event will centre on intensive training, physiotherapy sessions and workshops for both those living with Parkinson’s and caregivers. The workshop also offers an interactive and spirited social programme for guests to enjoy.
