The Light of Day Foundation is hosting its annual festival which uses the power of music to raise both awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease.

Be part of the magic and join Team Fox for the Disney World Marathon. Participants can take on a variety of courses and will receive a Team Fox running shirt, access to discounted park passes and an online fundraising page.

Premiere of Kinetics, Dorchester and Bristol, UK

The film Kinetics, written by actor Sue Wylie in reaction to her Parkinson’s diagnosis, will premiere at the Plaza Cinema in Dorchester on 10 and 12 January, and at the 1532 Performing Arts Centre in Bristol on 27 January.

Winter 2018 Lunch and Learn Series, Augusta University, Georgia, US

Dr John Morgan, professor of neurology at Augusta University, is giving a free talk on research, care and education within the Parkinson’s community. Guests will also enjoy lunch.

Dance For Parkinson’s, Rickmansworth, UK

The class is held by a qualified dance instructor and includes a warm up, some seating exercises and choreographed movements to improve balance.

The Parkinson’s Foundation is hosting an evening of fashion, music and dinner in aid of the charity. Tickets cost $150 per head.

Charity Quiz & Curry Night In Aid Of Parkinson’s Disease Society, Southampton, UK

Join the Parkinson’s Disease Society for a quiz night at The Concorde Club. Tickets are £12 for non-members; ticket price includes a curry served at the interval.
