Superhero Family Day with the Hartford Wolf Pack, Connecticut, USA

Join the Hartford Wolf Pack to raise money to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease and meet your favourite superheroes, courtesy of professional actors from Team Vermin Cosplay. There are pre-game events for all the family and a costume contest for kids of all ages.

Dancing Well with Parkinson’s, Dun Laoghaire, Ireland

Move4Parkinson’s collaborate with Dance Theatre Ireland and launch their ‘Dancing Well with Parkinson’s’ project in South Dublin. Artistic directors Robert Connor and Loretta Yurick provide 10 sessions of dance classes using specially designed techniques for people with Parkinson’s.

Third Thursdays webinar – ‘Dyskinesia: What to do about moving too much’, 12:00 ET

The next free monthly webinar hosted by the MJ Fox Foundation will cover dyskinesia, the name given to the involuntary movements that arise with the use of levodopa in advanced Parkinson’s disease.

2nd Annual Shakes, Rattles, Rides and Rods, Riverview, Florida, USA

The American Legion Riders, Alafia Chapter Post 148, will lead a short motorcycle ride to a hidden river. Scheduled activities for ticket holders include prize drawings, auctions, raffles, live music as well as karaoke. Funds raised will help Parkinson’s patients in the Tampa Bay area.
