Michael J Fox webinar

Tune in live online for all you need to know about ‘dyskinesia’, the involuntary movements related to the use of levodopa in advanced Parkinson’s disease

The next free webinar hosted by the MJ Fox Foundation on 21 January will cover dyskinesia, the name given to the involuntary movements that arise with the use of levodopa in advanced Parkinson’s disease.

The discussion will explore how dyskinesia is currently treated, and what future therapies are in development, with a panel of experts including specialist Dr Christopher Bishop of Binghamton University, whose research targets the serotonin system to control dyskinesia.

The discussions are moderated by well-respected broadcast journalist and person with Parkinson’s, Dave Iverson, who also hosts the Portland Countdown podcasts.

The one-hour informative session is part of a series of free webinars, which takes place every third Thursday of the month. It’s free to register and join in the live webinars here.

Audience members can submit their own questions to the experts while the discussion is happening in real time. And if you can’t make it for the live broadcast, catch the recording in the library archive here.
